Covid vaccination status requests

We are understandably receiving lots of enquiries from patients regarding how the prove their covid vaccination status.

A number of the online apps (Patient Access, NHS App, MYGP etc) give patients the ability to view vaccines that have been given, including covid vaccinations.

If you do not have access to these, you can request a letter form the NHS providing yur vaccination status by calling 119 from the 17th May.

Travel Information

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete a Travel Health Questionnaire for each person travelling, this will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.  Once you have submitted your form you will be contacted by the practice within 2 weeks to schedule an appointment with the practice nurse for any vaccinations required.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are travelling in 6 weeks or less the practice is unable to provide travel services for you, therefore you will be advised to contact a private travel clinic.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the link below

NHS Travel Information

Most travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because travel vaccination is not included in the services provided by the NHS and therefore is a chargeable service.
