Practice Merger with Park Medical Practice
Thank you to everyone who shared feedback about the proposed merger between Park Medical Practice and Park View Surgery. Your comments have been invaluable in helping us understand what matters most to our patients.
We have carefully reviewed all responses and grouped them into common themes. Below, you will find a summary of the key topics raised and our responses to each. Our aim is to reassure all patients that the merger is designed to improve access, maintain continuity of care, and strengthen the range of services we can provide across both sites.

There will be no reduction in clinical hours or clinician availability. In fact, additional salaried GPs are being recruited to further improve access and continuity of care. |

Patients will have the option to attend any site if convenient. This flexibility will help the practice make best use of appointment availability and improve access overall. |

Patients’ prescriptions will continue to be sent to their nominated pharmacy, as usual. |

Urgent update regarding prescriptions and FIT notes
Please be advised that from Monday, 29th September, there will be changes to how prescriptions and FIT notes are requested at the practice.
Prescription Ordering:
Prescriptions can now only be requested on the following days and times:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between 10:30am and 12:30pm.

FIT Note Requests:
Please note that FIT notes will no longer be processed by telephone. All FIT note requests must be submitted through our ‘Contact Us Online’ service (online triage) using the following link:
